Ajay Venkateshan Krishnaprasad is a seasoned graphics software engineer with over 10 years of experience in 3D graphics architecture and driver development for multiple compute and mobile platforms. He is currently working as a Senior Staff Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm, where he is responsible for DirectX graphics driver design, development, and commercialization for cutting-edge Adreno GPUs. Ajay has a strong background in comprehensive requirements gathering, software design, and efficient implementation of user-mode driver for DirectX, OpenGLES, and Vulkan. He possesses a deep understanding of scalar GPU architecture, performance profiling, and model projections, which enables him to design and develop high-quality graphics drivers that meet the most demanding user requirements. Throughout his career, Ajay has worked on various projects, including developing DirectX 11 user-mode driver for Windows Phone and Windows RT on Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro/Plus chipsets, porting OpenGL ES driver for Android on Qualcomm MSM8660 and MSM7x30 chipsets, and designing and developing a Factory Test Module for Android on Qualcomm MSM8660 and MSM7x30 chipsets. Ajay earned his Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2009 and his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore in 2004. He also attended SPHS from 1999 to 2002. Ajay's technical skills include Android, mobile development, software engineering, and testing.
